SCDN Program Pathway
Not sure where to start or what comes next? We've laid out our programs in order so you can easily see your skating journey from day one all the way to your skating goals. Whether you're brand new to the ice or ready to level up, we'll help guide you every step of the way!
Learn to Skate
&
Learn to Hockey
Our Learn to Skate and Learn to Hockey programs are for those aspiring figure skaters and hockey players to learn the basics and establish a strong foundation for their skating skills. These programs run about 6 weeks each and occur weekly.
Who is this program for?
This program is for those who are either just learning how to skate or for those newer skaters who are still working on refining their skills on the ice.
Next step after this program:
If you love being on the ice & want to continue your skating journey after learn to skate, the next step is to join our bridge program - “The Minors” (See next). Ask any of our coaching staff how to get more information on joining any of the programs we offer!
Bridge Program:
“The Minors”
Aspire
Our Bridge program - The Minors - is a program that helps our beginner-level skaters bridge the gap between their Learn to Skate experience and joining the club as a full member. This is a controlled group lesson, where skaters who are graduating from our Learn to Skate program or have prior skating experience at the beginner level, are able to continue to strengthen and build upon their foundational skating skills. This program is also called Aspire.
Who is this program for?
This program is for those who have already gone through the Learn to Skate program or have a solid skating foundation and would like to take the next step in their skating journey to further challenge themselves and strengthen their skating skills even more.
Next step after this program:
The next step after graduating from The Minors would be to inquire with one of our coaches about taking private lessons and pursuing a club membership (see “our coaches” page). Those skaters who decide to become a club member, must take lessons from a coach on our staff unless they are a visiting skater or affiliate member.
SCDN Club Memberships
“The Majors”
Our Club memberships (Individual & Family) are for those who have competitive experience in prior clubs, or are graduating from the Bridge program and would like an environment where they can consistently train and have access to all the amenities, classes and ice time SCDN has to offer. This is a good option whether you are looking at becoming a competitive skater or just want to continue skating because you love it.
Who is this program for?
This program is for anyone who loves to skate and wants to continue on their skating journey. Whether you are a beginner, elite level competitor, or something in between, this is the place for you!
Next step after this program:
This is the final step in gaining access to all the club has to offer. Congrats - you’re in the Major leagues!
