Megan began her synchronized skating career with the KICKS Synchronized Skating Teams, competing at the Open Juvenile, Intermediate, and Novice levels. She went on to skate for two seasons with the University of Minnesota Duluth Synchronized Skating Team and later founded the UMD Intercollegiate Skating Team in 2014, serving as its President for two years. After graduating, Megan continued her synchro career with Denver Synchronicity’s adult synchronized skating team earning a sectional gold medal.

Fueled by a lifelong passion for the sport and a desire to create opportunities for adult skaters, she founded the Northland Blades in August 2025.
